It's the end of April, a time when all school children are looking forward to some summer fun! Holidays are starting and children want to play all day long. Where do they go to meet as many other children and learn as many new activities as possible?
If students wish to spend their summer holidays fruitfully, they can participate in this camp. It is one comprehensive programme comprising art and craft, handwriting, communication skills, puppetry, toy theatre, team games, indoor games, industrial visits and field trips..
Summer is here and so are summer camps, which engage children in various activities to nurture their latent skills, besides backing them with bright ideas and hopes.Here is a list of school organizing summer camps for children.
Rotary Laharry Matriculation Higher Secondary School has planned to organize a summer camp, aptly named ‘Seasonal Aptitude Development Project,’ for students from all schools from April 15 to 30.
Classes will be held between 9 a.m. And 1 p.m. In sketching and painting, classical dances, music, English conversation, green school programs, Tamil conversation, computer animation, yoga and shuttle cock or volley ball.
A choice of any three of the first four courses is offered for Kindergarten children and a choice of any three from all the courses is for students of I to VIII standards.
The venue is Rotary Laharry Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Materials and transport will be provided free of cost.
Interested parents can contact the school at 2532923 and enroll their wards before April 5.
SEV Matriculation Higher Secondary School offers kiddies camp, cricket camp and regular summer camp for all age groups.
The kiddie camp has played way activities for kids such as training by Anglo Indian teachers, story time, project time, math time, play time, coloring time, audio visual time, music and dance time and local field trips.
The sessions will be held between 9.30 a.m. and 12 noon.
The cricket coaching camp will be held between 6.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. The camp has a theory and practical coaching sessions by experts. Weekend matches and tournaments will also be organized. Special awards and certificates will be distributed at the end of the camp.
The summer camp will be conducted between 9 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. in three sessions. The first session will feature sessions on chess, yoga, karate, gymnastic, dance, art and craft, drawing, singing and skating. The second session will deal with mental maths, handwriting and spoken English while the third session concentrates on English grammar, current affairs and amazing facts.
The kiddie camp is available for children above four years of age, while cricket coaching and summer camp are for those above eight years. The camp will be held between April 11 to May 9.
Mahatma Montessori Matriculation Higher Secondary School will be conducted two week program. Lunch and transport facilities are provided for the participants.
For smaller age group half a day programme is offered for two weeks. Besides these special two hour sessions are offered in mathematics, computer science, spoken English and grammar for two weeks. The participants enjoy a fun filled and meaningful fortnight.
